I have been trying to connect two of my switches via a Gigastack card. However, whenever I connect the new 3550 to my existing 3500, I can only access network resources if the workstations are on public IP addresses. My internal IP's stop working. For the time being I have conencted my new 3550 switch via a standard Gigabit card and a crossover cable to another gigabit card on another switch, but wanted to figure out why that ocurs when I use the gigastack card. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a VTP setting or VLAN issue to me. Uplinks probably aren't set as trunks or something like that.
