Hi

I am thinking of using Gigabyte's GA-7N400 Pro 2 motherboard. Anyone knows of issues with this mobo??

Thoughts appreciated

I use them all the time with few problems and rate them as one of the top Nforce2 motherboards out there ATM.
As with all modern motherboards don't get cheap memory, buy branded (Nforce2's can be very finnicky with memory)
Kingston/Crucial etc
Remember also that this is a dual channel moby so requires the use of two identical memory modules to work in dual channel mode and by PC3200 if you can, it shouldn't be more than a few $$$$'s more than PC2700 now and will give you a better upgrade path.
Use the latest Nvidia 3.13 platform drivers.
Early bios didn't like the Easy tune 4 software (but should be resolved now)as new boards should already have later bios info.
A good alternative to the A7N8X-Deluxe
Also recommend the MSI K7N-SILR Delta (not 100% sure of the name) but is also a decent board.

Thanks Paprazi. Its always better to have an objective view on things. Much appreciated particulalry the bit about the memory, my thoughts are along the same line as yours, I feel better for having it confirmed.

All the best
