I have a Backupclient with a Netgwar GA622T Gigabit-Card. When I try to save the client with a scheduled backup I get the following error message:
* server_2:C:\ nsrexec: authtype nsrexec
* server_2:C:\ type: NSR client description;

The backup of the client with a server- initiated backup doesn't work.
The manual-backup from the client works fine.
Host-file and servers-file are okay.
In the eknowledgebase of Legato was written that some settings in the registry are neccessary and that the manufacturer of this product should know this settings.
I had phoned with the manufacturer and he didn't know this problem.

I am at one wits' end.

Any Idea?

The eknowledgebase article you are referring to was discussing a problem with the Compaq Gigabit NIC card. The solution was to upgrade the Compaq driver. So the solution may not apply to you.

There were a number of workarounds that were reported that customers tried. They worked for some, but not all. But the final solution was to upgrade the driver. Again, this was for aCompaq card, which you do not have.

My suggestion is to verify that it is first a NIC card issue. Swap it out for a 10/100 card and see if the problem returns.
