Getting the Domain

is there a way to get the domain a workstation is using and also the workstation's computer name.

I know that this is possible using the Getenv(), but this only works well if you are using win2k and up, for windows 98 below this is not possible.

MadHatter - did you ever get a reliable solution for determening the domain? I have found the UserDomain env. variable unreliable when running under COM+.
