Getting Started with PERL 1

Hey Friends,

I am friendly with UNIX Scripts but now my manager want's me to get the things done with PERL. I agree PERL has more to offer(and I guess its fun too to work with PERL).

All I need to know is ...
1) Which is a Good Book (The Good Book) to start with, having lots of examples

2) Is there a place on the web where I can get help or samples to pick-up PERL.

(((WHY PERL Why not something else????)))
