Best thing is to get some books on what exactly you are interested in, then start working thru the examples....when the basics of the langauge have been understood, start hanging out on forums and coding answered to questions...
Also ask for small projects at work to practice on

Without a doubt I would recomend
Best reference site I have sen. Learned the basics of ASP and XML there and still use it occasionally when I need to look something up (though that doens't happen very much any more
)

I have to add for one this site. Tek-Tips has hundreds of great threads that discuss design, logic flow and implementation. not to mention thousands of lines of code to show example and benchmarks.
Next I would highly recommend looking at the signatures of some of the members here at Tek-Tips. Most of us have tutprials to help and other places linked as resources we may recommend.
