On the network I have I have a share and there are about 10 other people that have access to it.

I have four rdp files created. Terminal service files for XP Pro. I have the password and user name saved in them. When I go to run them they work perfect. It will log the machine on or unlock the machine if it is locked.

When the other users go to use this with the username\password already programmed in there it prompts them for the password. What I have found is that if a different user goes to run the rdp file it will not remember the password.

From my computer if I check the settings it has the pw programmed in there, from anyone else's login the pw is left blank.

Is there a way to fix this so that as soon as they double click on the file and the pw will be programmed in there.

*Yes it would be easy to just have each user program in the password but there are multiple rdp files

*I need to have a specific username\password programmed in to the files.

-this is a side note, I have all of these setup in an hta file and they are open through a vbscript, so if anyone knows any command line switches(username\password) for mstsc please let me know.

Thanks,
Tim

Is there anything you can do with this?

There is a "Manage Passwords" section obtained via typing Control Userpasswords2 in the Start Run box. In the resulting window you will get to it via the Advanced tab.
