Suddenly today out of no where I am getting error 3464 Data type mismatch on a findfirst
The code opens the table and its throwing error 3464 on a date field.

My crystal ball says: You have a problem.

Have fun.

It turned out that one of the records was missing a date
and the findfirst had to evaluate a null....

I entered a date into the field and everything was working normal.

Pack10,
Please take the hint from Andy. You have started over 100 threads in various Access fora. I'm not sure why you wouldn't at a very minimum share the code that is throwing error 3464. A more comprehensive posting might have included something about your data.
