Getting a receipt printer to push the cash drawer out

Hello!

I´m developing a system that should be able to print out receipts via an Epson receipt printing device. That device is going to push out the cash drawer whenever a receipt is printed out.

But we can´t get it to work. The cash drawer doesn´t come out.

What control code is used to activate the solenoid that releases the drawer? Have you tried dumping the code to the printer to see if the solenoid is activating?
