Get rid of TAC on Phone display.

G'day all, I have tie trunk set up between two offices, problem is when I dial them I see the TAC untill they answer the phone call. It is annoying the snot out of the Heads of State here and they want it gone. Any Ideas? I have 5 other Tie trunks that do not display this info (just the called party) and can't find any differences between them. Thanks Ed
 
Big Fat NEVERMIND....found it....there was a difference. Send outgoing display? N.....hmmmmmmm rocket science huh?

If none of the other trunks have a similar experience, then it might be the distant end setup.

Check for the call start parameters on the distant system, and make sure they match what you expect. For example, if the signaing is wink-start, then it might be that the Avaya is waiting for a wink back, and, not getting it, it settles for answer supervision to switch to the normal display.

Also make sure that the distant system isn't setup to 'delay return of answer supervision' or anything like that.
