Get rid of registration message 1

We are using laptops in a wireless configuration, at seemingly random times a message pops up that a modem cannot be found to register Windows ME with. Does anyone no how to get rid of this, we are not going to ever use these machines with a modem. Any and all help graetly appreciated.

This MAY do the trick.

Run regedit
go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

there ther is a line containing RegDone.
right click and modify the value to "1"

BACK UP THE REGISTRY FIRST !
