Hi,
I was asked this question in an interview:
How can i get the last row loaded in the target table without using session logs or preview data function in informatica?
any ideas?

Clearly the interviewer had no notion himself...

The whole point with data in databases is that there is no inherent order to data. The whole idea of a last row is pretty meaningless. Order will only appear if you apply an order by (based on one or more sortable fields) on the output. But then there is still no 'last row' in that sense.

Though meaningless you can add a sequence generator and pass the row with the sequence value that matches the record-count of the source...
