How can I get the computer name in access 2000. I want to stop poeple copying my program onto another computer. Or do you know any other better way.

If you want to stop people from copying your database to another computer you need to either limit who has access to the folder in which your database resides and/or setup security on your database so that only authorized users can access your database.
 
a combination of the three will do it, i thin, because if you set security and they copy everything (mdb and mdw) you still have a copy. Christiaan Baes
