I have a 406V2 at 3.0 (59) with 5410 phones. I am using shortcodes with the dialpaging feature to provide zone paging. People were use to getting a tone before doing a page from the previous phone system. The shortcodes work, but I don't get a beep before being connected.
I have tried using the VMPro Transfer and Assisted Transfer to play the beep wav file and then transfer to the shortcodes. When I use the Transfer action it plays the beep tone and then transfers, I get connected but I also have ring tone while I am connected. If I use the Assisted Transfer action it plays the beep tone and then transfers, but I never really get connected, all the phones Speaker buttons will light for a very brief second and then drop. Is there a better way to provide some type of tone before connecting? Thanks.
