Hello

We have 2 sites with CS1K5.0. When Programming a new I.P. ext on primary call server. It does not replicate the data to the geographic site till the next day. I have tried to use commands like EDD and MIDN but these commands did not force the data to update on the geographic site. Is there a way to speed up the process without waiting for the PABX to perform its midnight routine.

The issue is when programming I.P. ext for the first time. The ext displays an error Invalid TN with an old ext number and does not resolve itself till the next day.

Do you have rule created for EDD. It needs checked and set on the primary SS and also, on the secondary, the action you want it to preform upon receiving it needs addressed.

once you have carried out your edd, stay in 43 & do BRK x (x= the backup rule number configured for each GR MG) you will then see this zip up the config files & send them to your GR CS. At the GR end you should see the file come in unpack & reboot at the GR CS &SS,if you dont themn you may have to log in then log straight back out of the GR CS as this seems to force the GR CS to load the recieved config file.

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder
