Generate the creation code from a spreadsheet

Hi I have a spreadsheet already created and i was wondering if there was a way to get the code that created the spreadsheet, ie normally you would record the macro then make your changes, the code would then be available, however the spreadsheet has already been created and i need to reproduce it within other spreadsheets. I know i can copy and paste but its not the solution i need, if there are any third party apps that do it i would also be interested.

Why not save it as a template (.xlt) ?
