I just wanted to say that I am impressed with the help forums here on Tek Tips. I think it is great that people get multiple solutions to their issues in such short notice. A little bit about myself and where my observations come from. I was one of the engineers/technicians that manned the lines for Seagate Software prior to the switchover to Crystal Decisions. I also provided email support Via ABE (answers by email). I've been working independantly now for several years, but have noted the changes that have occurred. Most noticeable is that Crystal no longer offers free technical support, and wants to charge an incredible sum to answer even simple questions. Even from the time that I worked, people would not get answers via email in the orderly fashion that they are answered here. I just happened to stumble across this site when on a search for a problem that was not addressed in the crystal Kbase and wish I would have known about it previously. I am still in close contact with several other ex-Seagate technicians and plan to alert them of this site as well, hopefully to contribute to the overall efforts provided here. In summary, Great Job to you who take the time to answer questions and share your expertise!
