General FormValidation

Hi,

I am currently developping a general Form-validator which can be called from ALL Forms I use on my site. I have allready created an IE solution (using Form.Elements.value with an additional HTML-tag) and that one works perfectly.
The only problem is Netscape.... This browser just won't get the hang of my tags. Does anyone know a general solution which works for both IE and NS???
