Hello

Have a question, I have more people than VM boxes but I do not want to add more as most use their cell phones, but maybe during a day there might be 4 or 5 message in the General Delivery mailbox. Is there a way were the recp. can listen to those message instead of having to log into the general mailbox? (like linking them together)

Or is it better to just disable the Gerneral Delivery and if the caller dials in an EXT through AA and the person does not pick up line that is goes directly into the recp voicemail box?

it sounds like is you are using the gen deliv, but you don’t have it assigned to an extension: Is this correct?

You can assign the gen deliv to the recep, and this will give you another mailbox-

Or you can disable the gen deliv. I don’t know that I understand exactly how you have it setup.

Along the same line: have the receptionist ext link to the General Delivery MB (100), She should get a msg indication whenever a msg is left in gen delivery

If you change GDMB ext from 100 to the reception phone... she will get message waiting indication from GDMB. Note that she can no longer have a personal MB.

She can get msg waiting indication of GDMB AND keep a personal box if you leave GDMB ext as 100 and turn on external message notification in GDMB. Set the notification to internal and use the reception ext as destiation. She will get called every time a message is left in the GDMB
