MICS 6.1 with CP100, I am getting messages in the general delivery box with just a busy tone and it's happening about 15 times per day. The wavy configuration is set up no messages should be getting delivered into the general delivery to begin with. Any suggestions?

Assign it to reception..I just deleted 1287 msgs that were almost all busy tones and hangup recordings.First i changed trunks to supervised and then assigned gen del to main phone.Couldnt find how they got there but been doing this for a long time and most was 400...never dreamed i would find 1287.

6 months until ski season starts...sadly i must resign myself to the warmer weather"this will include a normal 8-5 work day, 5 days a week"

It's assigned to port 101 extension 301 which isn't plugged in or in use at the moment. What does changing the trunk type to supervised actually do?

Assigning to a non existent phone won't stop msgs from being deposited in the GDM. Disable it.

Busy tone msgs means the lines are not disconnecting when the far end hangs up. Check your supervision settings.

Disconnect supervision tells the system that the connection or caller has hung up! Enabling Disconnect Supervision will reduce abandoned or hung up calls on lines from going to VM and leaving garbage messages.

Thanks Guys, that did it, just changed the trunk modes to super...FYI anyone who is doing this keep in mind it takes a minute or so for the lines to come back. Thanks!
