Has anyone used GLBP in a dual ISP environment? If so, Does the track object-number interface type number {ip routing} opton work if just the BGP neighbor is lost. Routing is enabled, the interface is up and has an IP, but the break is further down the line say at a CO, so the router isn't receiving the BGP hello packets.
Thanks

I believe the ip routing tracking simply monitors the interface.

Whenever I deploy this protocol and I'm using dynamic routing over the WAN, I prefer to track reachability to an ip route as this will detect any upstream device /BGP neighbor failure etc

Thanks, I was just reading the VRRP config and saw that option. I think that's the better way to go, just about all our problems have been issues with the telco. Were our link is up but we stop receiving the BGP hello packets.
