Hi,
I am using CR XI against an Oracle database and have a query about Gantt charts.

Data :
ID Start_Date End_Date
1 13/01/07 15/01/07
2 03/05/07 06/06/07
3 14/01/07 16/01/07

My requirement is to show the above on a chart so that any overlaps (ie conflicts) will show up clearly. In the example above records 1 & 2 overlap and if there is a seperate bar for each record the conflict will be seen. However, although there is a bar for each record the legend doesn't link into the record number ie it starts at zero. Does anyone know how I can make it clearer which bar represents which record ?
Thanks as always for any help.

I can't see anyway to change the Y-axis labels, which appear to represent recordnumber-1. You could add a formula to the detail section:

recordnumber-1

And label it as the key to the chart. Other than that I'm not sure what you can do.

LB,
great idea. I have been struggling to find any other way so I will go with your suggestion and label it clearly.
Thanks!
