After a quick check of the q&a's I can't find a solution to this one.

My Games folder does not contain the old standards like Freecell, solitaire and others. Any instruction on how to get these back would be appreciated.

I have tried "add remove programs" to no help. Games aren't there .

Go to ->Control panel -> Add remove programs -> Add Remove Windows Components -> Accessories -> Details

Tick the games box and put your XP CD-Rom in when asked.

If the games box is ticked - untick it - let it 'remove them' then tick it so they get added.

That should be all there is to it!

Go back into Add/Remove Programs.

Click the button on the left that says "Add/Remove Windows Components".

Then click on "Accessories and Utilities", and press the "Details..." Button. Then make sure the "Games" icon has a tick next to it (If it is blank or has a tick with a grey backgrounn, then keep clicking it until it has a tick with a white background). Then press "Next >" and it'll install it for you.

**You may need to insert the Windows XP CD if it asks**
