GAL is empty after Exch2K upgrade- sometimes

I just Upgraded to Exch 2000 and now users open thier outlook and sometimes the Global address list is empty. If they close Outlook and re-open it a few times and it shows up. It is the normal GAL- nothing custom. Any Ideas??
