We have a customer with 2 locations, SCN active.
On one of the locations i cant't select the G.723.1 codec on the voip tab of the extensions. (the codec isn't visible)
On the other location the codec is there.
Both IPO 500 R6(8)

Found it, 1608i doesnt't support G723 codec.
The 1608 supports the G723 and is vissible under extensions voip tab.

Oeps wrong, thought i saw the codec but its not there.

Why do you want to use the G.723.1 codec?
Did you know that the G.723.1 cannot transport DTMF reliaby?
Also this codec adds antoher 7,5ms extra delay.

I would only use G.711 or G.729a
