G450 analog ports busy out

We have a G450 standalone gateway with several analog stations in it. About every two weeks one of our techs has to busy and release the board. The complaint is that there is no dial tone. They were told that this is normal due to inactivity which is hard to believe. Has any one expierienced this?

I would say this is not normal behavior. Make sure all firmware is current on the gatewway and media modules. If the problem continues I would open a ticket with Avaya.
