We have had 2 clients running G3V6 03.2.239.7 release Si's and both of them after Jan 1, 2004 had their BCMS data not refreshing, if we did a 'list bcms .....' commands the information in the PBX would not update. We found after a reset system 4 that the PBX BCMS data was updating properly, looks as though there was a bug in this release when the switch went past the Jan 1, 2004 date.

Anyone else have this issue?

Thank you,

hehe, i just mentioned this in another post. You need to have avaya download patch number 2577. This is a leap year, left over y2k issue. It is not service affecting unless you have ISDN trunks, but it will take the system down for 5 sec or so. I was one of the first ppl to call avaya with this problem and it was like pulling teeth to get them to help me with it.

Also something they didn't know at first is once you have the patch installed you need to either add or delete a minute to reset the system counters.

All is good with my systems now.

Do you know if it has any other service affecting affects or just the BCMS data issue?

Thank you,

As far as i could tell it was only the bcms output that was having the problem. I have 5 sites that are mini call centers that are supposed to be watching stats and service levels, and only one noticed the stats were not working correctly. So i seriously doubt they would notice any other problems.... short of the phones just not working.
