We've been experiencing an ongoing problem with late lighting message waiting lamps. This problem seems to occur
sporadically, but enough folks have mentioned it to me that I believe there is a problem. Example: Subscriber 7324 says she received a message dated 10/03 at about 2:30 p.m.. She didn't see her message waiting lamp lit until the next morning. I checked the activity log for 7324 and found that a message was left at 2:34 p.m. on 10/03 and Audix turned the message waiting lamp on at that time. Normally I would dismiss this as user error, but as I said, I have had enough complaints from different folks to believe we are having trouble. I can't duplicate the problem. We had the problem with our old R3.1 Map 40 Intuity Audix and the problem continues with our new R5.1 Map 40 Intuity Audix. (Brand new box... etc). I've checked and messages are not being rescheduled by the Intuity. As of late I have heard that this is a known problem with our Definity software load (R6.03.2.239.3) that is fixable by either a patch or by going to a later R6 load. Trouble is, I can't find any documentation to back this up. Avaya's web site is no help on this issue. Has anyone heard of this problem and do you know where I can get my hands on the documentation to back this? Thanks in advance.
