I have a G3si V11 with 2 EPN. Both EPN are on fiber and everything has standard duplication. Two pair of fiber to 2 expansion interfaces per EPN. Is there a survivable EPN available in case both fibers fail?

You can only have the survivable EPN's on a G3r. It is programmable on the fiber link form. In the G3si it's pretty much plug and play (or pray).

I keep hearing from Avaya engineers the if you have the MultiVantage S8700 at some point you can get a backup cluster that will automatically restore (take over). Now you can have the backup cluster but it will only take over with manual intervention.

If the remote PN has fiber to it, and if you have a few extra strands you could do a S8700 and split the servers between the sites. We have many customers deploying this..
