To start with I have little information at the moment but thought I would ask while researching.
I have an FVS318 FW (Revision 1.3 Jan 29 2003 - I may need to upgrade the firmware on the firewall) and remote clients using SafeNet. Both the remote clients are utilising dial ups and therefore DHCP addresses. The only authentication is on the password. What I have found is that only one connection can connect at any one time. Both remote connections have differing connection names but the FVS318 only seems to be able to accept one remote/DHCP connection at any one time. If both attempt to connect both fail. I have to set each individual connection to active and de-activate the other - if that makes sense. Has anyone come across the problem and is it a software or firmware issue?
While here does anyone know of an alternative (free) to SafeNet? - that is secure and can be configured for a user to easily operate?
Cheers
