This is probably more of a question about Suitcase, but here I go. I am working with someone who has a G4 Mac (9.2) with Quark XPress 4.1 and Extensis Suitcase 10. When I load type one fonts into Suitcase they appear jagged in it's preview. When I try to look at them or print with them in Quark, they also print jagged. They print fine out of Adobe Illustrator. What am I doung wrong?

Do you have ATM light running? It's an Adobe font smoother. If you have ATM Delux, that conflicts with Suitcase causing fonts to look corrupted. ATM Light seems to work ok but there's more info at the extensis site about that. If you get the fonts ok in Illustrator, then select them, convert them to outlines (vector art basically) and save the whole thing as an EPS you can place in Quark. By doing that, you eleimnate the need for any fonts in Quark.
