I have a windows 2000 advanced server, and i have several websites on thier for friends and family.
Now, i have been trying to set up ftp sites, so that they can access their site, to upload or download, or delete files etc, however
I have only managed to do this by creating a new ftp connection with a different TCP port, ie it was, port 22, port 23, and port 24, for three of the accounts.
now, i have been trying to set it up using just one ftp site, and have tried alsorts, let me explain
i have the ftp pointing to the disk that houses all the websites, and when i access it as admin i get all the sites, up....
Now for instance, say (darren) logs in, i only want him to access the folder that belongs to him..
I have tried, several methods, including, setting folder permissions, etc, but nothing seems to work,
can this be done, and HOW DO YOU DO IT.... thanks...
or even if you can point me to somewhere i can find this information i would be grateful...
Thank you
