FTP Error

Hi we have ftp service installed on one of the NT Server.
But from last two days our client is facing problem with ftp services.

When he login to ftp server he is able to login without any problem but when he try to browse the folders "dir or list"
it through error as follows.


"I receive the message:
150 Opening ASCII mode date connection for /bin/ls
and then I get the following error messages:
! Timer cancelled blocking call
! Accept error: Blocking call cancelled
! Retrieve of folder listing failed (0)"

My client is using ws_ftp and when i tried to check the same thing locally i didnot faced any problem.

Have your client go into ws_ftp and disable passive transfers. More than likely your firewall is blocking FTP PASV transfers. If he turns passive off in his client software it should work.
