FTP Error trap

Currently, I have a batch file that I use to logon and download files from a server. I actually have MS Access write the bat file, then run it, using user input for the logon information. The only thing is, is there a way to get any error messages that generate during the process? I need to try and account for errors so that the user knows there is a problem. The bat file runs the FTP connection through the command prompt.

Appreciate the help.
