assuming you want to ftp means you want to get something into livelink or out of livelink.livlink does not act as a ftp server.the closest things that come to mind is create a ftp site and use livelink obj importer or syntergy bulkloader.if you wanted to get it out you woul use lapi,zip and download and then use ftp api's like cute ftp etc.
