O.k im sorry this is gonna sound like a really dumb problem but i cannot get my tiny head round it .

I have a 4 machines that link into a broadband router tehn to the cable modem and out onto the net.
Now i want to setup an ftp/remote access program to run but i cannot get them to work due to the NAT mainly, problem is im a grease monkey of the pc world hardware im great software not so good.

I was thinking port forwarding but i cant get it to work and DMZ'ing a single machine seems risky espercially as i would want to dmz my machine.
