fs structure

hey, I have two questions:

1. to get file system info, they have the structure fs. How do I fill it and what call do I use?

2. I need to copy from file system 1 to file system 2, but it's not letting me, says <Cross-device link>. Is there any way around this, or will I have to go around it by manipulating the file in the 2nd file system?

sorry about the 2nd question, I guess I should say I'm using link to copy the files over.
