FRX on Windows XP not installing

Hello,

Our accountant is wanting to use FRX on his new computer which has Windows XP. His old computer running Windows 98 will run the application just fine. We tried installing FRX and received errors stating that the files failed to register properly. We also tried to register manually the fsfrl1360.dll file but this failed as well.

Any suggestions?

I'm not necessarily advocating this but I usually do:

1. Complete uninstall of FRx and service packs.
2. Delete all FRx Financial Reporting files and folders.
3. Edit Registry to try to clean out FRx.
4. Reinstall FRx while logged on as an Administrator.

As far as I know Frx aint supported on XP. Not sure about version 7 though.

Unable to install FRx 6.0 on a workstation running Windows XP.

Resolution

FRx version 6.0.84 and above are supported on Windows XP.
