[bugeyed] I am new to FRx 6.5 and I need some help. I am having a hard time setting up a report. Both the row format and the column format. We have a report, currently in Excel, that has information from the previous year to this year on one sheet. Example: Aug 2002 thru Aug 2003. The problem I am having in row format is the first 5 rows of the report are for the monthly figures for those periods(no problem). The next 5 rows are for yearly figures for those periods(my problem). I don't know how to set this up so I can print the same information on the same page. Also I don't know how to setup the column format to choose the correct periods I want.

If someone could help me I would really appreciate it.

In FRx, the row formats are generally for the accounts that you would like to print and the columns determine the dates. If you could modify the format, do the following:

Setup the accounts in rows

Cash 1000-101-00
A/R 1030-101-00
A/P 2000-000-00

etc

In the columns, you would want

the following columns across

DESC
GL ACTUAL BASE YTD
GL ACTUAL BASE CUR
GL ACTUAL BASE-1 YTD
GL ACTUAL BASE-1 CUR

When you create the catalogue, if you print for August 2003, you will get YTD Aug 2003, month of August 2003, then YTD Aug 2002, then Month of August 2002.

Does that help?

Kim - do you need to print both monthly and YTD data in the same column?
