Frustration - table datasheet window is too large

When I open a table in datasheet view (the one that makes it look like a spreadsheet), my table window is resized so that the bottom of the window extends below the bottom of my Access window. So if I want to use the record navigation buttons, I have to switch to the mouse, drag over, click down on the (application window) vertical scroll bar, click back to the table view, then go about my business.

I've tried upping my resolution to 1200x1024, but the table window setting grew as well, so no luck there.

I'm aware that you can't necessarily save individual table window sizes (like you can for forms/reports), but I should be able to set the default window size somehow.

Is there some sort of registry setting that i can SLAM-DELETE to end this annoying mess?

You can save the window size in a query view which is basically identical to the table view. Try creating a query that returns * from the table and save the size and layout of the query (CTRL-S).

Hope this helps.

Actually, sorry, that didn't help, but apparently I solved my own problem when I resized my screen size, opened some tables, and then reverse-resized my screen size back to the original. Now the tables open within the limits of the Access window.

So thanks to me! You're welcome!

and PS--this happened for all tables, in every database. So you might understand why I was so annoyed with it.
