We also occassionally have a register that "forgets" who it is. Its signed in correctly to get the correct screens (inside dining) but stubornly thinks it is a drive thru register. We can force it to go back to inside dining, but it keeps reverting to its incorrect drive thru screen. Back of House is correct and we are signing in to the correct employee to get the correct screen.

Rebooting computer doesn't help.

End of day fixes it but what happens if we can't wait for end of day?

Any ideas?

As a guess, it sounds like mapping on the menu screens. Enabling debugtouch will help pinpoint what is happening when this occurs next.

It could be something else, but that is where I would start first.

Don't know how to enable debugtouch. Mapping is correct. End of day this morning corrected 1 of the 2 registers but 1 still thinks its a drive thru.
