Hi, I have got a Access front end linked to a back end Access db, and i have entered a new record into the front end and for some reason it isnt showing up in the back end. The records entered yesterday are showing in there, i have checked the link and it correct, there are 1478 records in this table so far, i can see the new record in the front end, but when i open the back it isnt in the table?? Is this a record lock problem??

have you tried closing down the back end, then opening it up again?

Tried before sending, i did about 3 times, and re-did the link about 2 times, ive close out of everything gone back in to the back end and now its there...

Whats going on there?

looks like you're trying to view the record before you've fully updated it...

Well i entered the information into the record, saved it, close out of the front end, went into the backend to check it was there and it wasnt..

Surely it doesnt take it that long to send the data.
