I'm thinking about splitting my database into a front end and a back end. Before I do this, I'd like to know as much about front end/back end databases as possible. Can someone provide me with some information or links to information about this?

Thanks,
Dana

Hello Dana, the beauty of FE and BE is you keep your data in the BE and your Forms, Reports Code etc in the FE. So let's assume you deploy a solution or maintain a DB at a company or whatever and discover you have a few bugs or need to add some reports etc. You can do it, send the FE to the systems needed the upgrade and not destroy the data which is safe and sound in the BE.
