I have a Word file with tables going over 65 + pages...

Is it possible to 'tranfert' those tables from Word into an Excel file ?

I don't want to copy/cut and paste...it would take me days...

...and yes I'm used to another databaseprogram...

I need the Excel file with the information to make a FM file...

Thanks

OK, I tried this with a TINY sample. But basically, with my cursor in my table, I chose Table menu -> Select -> Table. Then I hit Ctrl-C to copy. Then I opened a new Excel spreadsheet, put my cursor in the first cell and hit Ctrl-V (paste). That put every Word table cell into a separate Excel cell. The only problem I see right off is that my sample was tiny and your Word table is huge - your computer's memory may not be able to take SOOO much information in one shot. I could also hit Ctrl-A and then Ctrl-C in the Word doc and again, just Ctrl-V into the first Excel cell and it also worked when pasting several tables at once. Hope that might work here.

Hi kcwong1....
Thanks for trying that out for me....
...That put every Word table cell into a separate Excel cell. Yep, it did... :)

Thanks for pointing that out, so I did it with 10 pages, no problem....

Hope that might work here.

Yes, you saved me a few fingers.... :)
Thanks again...
