From NT4 domain to 2003 domain

Hello,

I am tring to migrate computers from a NT4 domain to a 2003 domain. problem im having is that when i try to convert from domainnt4 to domain2003 the computer does not see the domain. but i know its there cause i can browse to the server its self and im able to connect to it from a computer outside the NT4 domain. the nt4 computers are 2000 desktops. any ideas?
