For PC: I need to put an accent on some text (as in French ) and I am wondering if there some keystorkes that will take care of this. If so, is there a web site where I could get a chart for more of the same.
Thanks Andrew, but I was looking more for a keystroke that would insert the accents etc. In Adobe PageMaker there used to be keystrokes that did it. i.e ctrl+alt+2347. That's not it but it may explain better what I need.
I do not want the French language only the accents of a few words.
You can use the ALT GR key on Windows and the key you want to put on the accent.
The Dead Key (the one beside the number 1 on the top row) will put a reverse accent on the letter, press it, then press the letter you want, usually a vowel.
There are other ways and keys to get things like circumflexes.
