Hi folks,

An easy question, I think. How do you freeze the last frame of a clip for say 5 seconds?. The only way I know, is to zoom right in, cut the last frame, export that frame as a bmp file, then re-import that bmp file on to the timeline .... very very cumbersome and doesn't always achieve the righ result. I know there is a "Frame Hold" function; I have followed the instructions in the book, but doesn't seem to work. Can someone assist?. Many thanks.

Regards,

Joe.

Hi Joe,

Heck, I'd simply export the last frame and re-import the BMP file and then change the duration to 5 seconds.

I think you're right on the ball there, man.

Cheers,

Hi there Edward,

I found another post by BlackhawkDowneyJr April 20, 2003; excellent advice; a little easier than my initial suggestion. This support forum is fantastic. Thank you all for your prompt replies, it is greatly appreciated. Take care.

Regards,

Joe.
