Hi

With VoIP system, it's now a must to have DHCP server. Usually it's furnished by the customer data infrastructure.
For labs test, or when the customer is not ready to deliver DHCP server, or if DHCP server is not working properly, it would be very useful to have one on the technician PC.
That PC is not a server, so the Microsoft one is not avaliable.
The DHCP server must be able to be set up with non-standards option: 128, 151, 152, ....

Who knows when to find such a DHCP server?... as Freeware, naturelly..

two things that may (or not) help.. any cicso router can serve as a dhcp server and if you have a server on your side of the boradcast domanin it can be enabled as a dhcp relay server sending. since a request for an ip is a broadcast.. that comes in handy on most sites of any size..

Thanks... however i'm really searching a DHCP server to be loaded on my laptop... I already though about the BCM/SRG one. The cisco case is the same one: I don't want to be "hardware" dependent.
The shareware one, as propose by biv343, might be a solution, if it's able to handle non-standards options.

Any other ideas?
