Hi,

In Win98, when I try to run Freecell game, a message pops up saying Your program has caused an error.... and in details following is mentioned:

FREECELL caused a general protection fault
in module CARDS.DLL at 0001:00000903.
Regristers:
EAX......etc. etc.

I have tried to re-install game too, but it didn't work. Any idea to resolve this problem.?

Regards,
Tayyab

have you tried to remove the game from the registry when uninstalling it?

Is your hard disk partitioned FAT or FAT32? I have a feeling Freecell won't run on FAT...

I have a client that has had this happen twice. The cure is to download the "Games" in Windows update. You may have to remove Freecell first. I don't know why Freecell is the only game that quits.
