Is it possible? I have a site designed in Dreamweaver and it has three frames. So when I put it on the net to test it the free web hosting ISP adds their banner to it. With a result that the banner comes up in every frame and therefore moves my nav bars around....
any advice or reference to a good free hosting site?

I may be wrong but I do not believe brinkster does this to you. ---------------------------------------
{ str = "sleep is good for you. sleep gives you the energy you need to function";
ptr = /sleep/gi;Nstr = str.replace(ptr,"coffee");alert(Nstr); }

You know, your like asking, "Anyone willing to give me money for nothing?"

No offence

:p

Okay, thinking about it, I found a way to "destroy" ads and banners.... One of my friends did that, and his website got shut down. So, I don't really recommend it... Also, ads are the only way that those web hosting companies earn money. Doing what my friend did is just a fast way to "kill" those companies, and soon, there will not be any free hosting service anymore ... :(

NO, I've used "Brinkster.com", and it's totally free 30 megs with ASP as well! Try it...

Setup your own server... as long as you have cable/dsl or faster net connection, you're set :) Darrell Mozingo

I'd tried that before.......it use to work...but it doesn't now....why's that? -_-'

What? Hosting on your own 'puter over cable/dsl? Hm... what happens? Or, actually my question is, DHCP? Better check your IP. If you've been handed a new IP, then the "old" one won't do you much good. Hey, aren't there some dynamic DNS servers out there? I seem to recall something of that sort. You reg some name w/ them (off their domain?) and when you are O/L, it updates the DNS w/ your current IP -- voila, folks can find you.

Anyone? Anyone? (Ben Stein)

O, I found out why now.. The company that's giving me ADSL service is trying to pursue more profits, so it gave me a dynamic IP, and now I can't host. They use to give me a static IP. o(><)o
...I miss the old times
